Sidoarjo Regency's economic growth exceeds that of East Java's economic growth of 5.50%, and also exceeds the national economic growth of 5.17%.

The poverty rate in Sidoarjo Regency has decreased from what was originally in 2017 by 6.23% to 5.69%, meaning that the poverty rate has fallen by 0.54% a year.
In addition, the growth of the industrial sector in Sidoarjo Regency, with various facilities of investment permits that we provide, from year to year, the value of investment entering Sidoarjo Regency also continues to increase from year to year. Prior to the implementation of the 161st Anniversary of the Sidoarjo Regency in the evening the Sidoarjo Regency Government held an Anniversary Tasyakuran in the Wibawa Delta Hall. This Tasyakuran invited scholars, community leaders and heads of OPDs throughout the Sidoarjo Regency.
